UMBRELLA POLICIES AT A GLANCE

In addition to your existing auto, homeowner, boat or farm & ranch policies, umbrella policies offer liability coverage to protect you and your assets.

Your AFR umbrella policy will provide coverage up to the limit of liability shown on your declarations pages of your umbrella policy if you are found legally liable for:

  • Injuries to another
  • Damaging the property of another
  • Personal injury

AFR PERSONAL UMBRELLA POLICY

The basic Personal Umbrella Policy coverage includes:

  • Damages for bodily injury, property damage and personal injury
  • Liability arising from use of all watercraft you own under 26 feet and 25 horsepower
  • Liability arising out of up to four rental units

Additional coverage includes:

  • Additional residences which must be described in the policy
  • Ownership or use of swimming pools with slides and diving boards
  • Ownership or use of trampolines
  • Ownership or use of motorcycles and unlicensed recreational vehicles
  • Incidental business activities conducted on the insured property
  • Ownership or use of watercraft and jet skis

 

AFR FARM & RANCH UMBRELLA POLICY

The AFR Farm & Ranch Umbrella Policy offers liability coverage for both $1 million or $2 million liability limits with coverages designed for the farmer and rancher.

The basic Farm & Ranch Umbrella coverage includes:

  • Damages for bodily injury, property damage and personal injury
  • Damaging the property of another
  • Personal injury

The coverage is automatically extended to include:

  • All watercraft you own under 26 feet and 25 horsepower
  • Up to four rental units
  • Unlicensed farm trucks
  • Custom farming up to $5,000 in gross receipts
  • Farmland up to 640 acres
  • Employers liability, up to 30 man days

Additional coverages include:

  • Horse boarding
  • Fruits or vegetable picking by the public
  • Farm employees
  • Pesticide and herbicide use
  • Business pursuits
  • Farming activities performed on the insured property
  • Application of pesticides and herbicides on the insured property
  • Ownership or use of watercraft, jet skis, swimming pools and trampolines
  • Up to eight rental units
